In 2026 I came across the 200 Motels - The suites score, with this example corresponding with bars 128-131 from The pleated gazelle, shown below. The meters and rhythms are notated differently. The thing that happened here is that the choir is singing these notes less articulated than the score says, the 16th notes are sung relatively longer. If I had known that the meter from the score is 4/4 as below, I would have notated this using triplets to get this effect:



As different as these examples may look at first glance, it's in fact about small differences between the score and the 1971 recording, and notational differences. Because the example from above is included in the 5th pdf version of this study, I'll leave everything as it is.
