The pleated gazelle, bars 1-7. Source/transcription:
- bars 1-4: original 1971 score (see the thumbnail in this page).
- bars 1-4: the pitches and rhythm of the spoken text is following the suites version (transcribed by KS).
- bars 5-7: transcribed from the suites CD in 2016.

In 2026 I came across the score of these bars 5-7 too (shown here below, 200 Motels - The suites, printed score), so I've looked into these bars again:
- As it comes to the pitches: some notes in the printed score appear to have shifted with a second. Cb-E and G-F in staff 1 of bars 5-6, and again in bar 7, are played as Bb-D and F-E on the CD. Possibly this comes from an optical aid program, that one could use when converting a handwritten score into a printed score. I don't see a reason to notate a B as C-flat in this context. The Bb in the bottom staff is a B natural on the CD. As far as I've checked this, this is happening in all pages of the printed score I came across. It's just something I saw coming by on the internet so it doesn't have to have an official definitive status, it may have been a try out.
- As it comes to the rhythm: this then has to be the more precise, thus better notation. I used a tempo change in bar 7. Though it looks pretty different, the effect is comparable. Because this example is present in the 5th pdf edition of this study, I'll leave things as they are.
